She was missing on the night they found her on the trails
Her family in distress, over what might have been
But when the cops showed up, it was but all too late
She had been murdered in cold blood, in dark mud
Left to rot like all of the other girls, the killer caught
But judged to be incapable
He was to live in asylum after what he had done
No ruling to punish the man for all the lives he took
No justice, no campaign to revise
The laws that would harm the people that he had so despised
When the world had failed them, they fell back

Cold and ruthless to his pleas they assaulted him
Lying on the street he wondered when the pain would end
